Tango Immersion Tour: Buenos Aires
November 7- 14, 2026
What to Expect
Dance Argentine Tango where it was born. Buenos Aires.
The Tango Immersion Tour is designed to help you unlock your inner dancer, connect with the Argentine culture, and understand the tango scene—thoughtfully curated experiences, carefully selected instructors, and surprises.
LIMITED to 8 SPOTS! A truly small group tailored tour.
❋ 12 Hours of Workshops
We’ve carefully selected world class instructors to help you on your tango journey. Since we’re a small group you’ll have focused attention to grow in your dance. You won’t be competing for their attention in a room of hundreds. You’re going to get personalized feedback!
❋ Milongas Every Night
Discover the range of milongas Buenos Aires has to offer. Your guides will take you to crowd favorites and hidden gems. These will range from formal to causal and in between. The scene rapidly evolves and we’re here to help you find your favorite milonga.
❋ Culteral Immersion
For 8 days you’re living and dancing where tango was born. On this tour you’ll immerse yourself in the culture and the role it plays in the dance. We’re a small group so we have the flexibility to explore unique aspects of Buenos Aires.
❋ Accommodation Option in San Telmo
For added comfort we’ve selected boutique accommodation in the historic neighborhood of San Telmo.
Your People
Brian Spellman & Andi Babbs
We have a vision for giving you something meaningful. Our goal is to introduce you to the world of tango in Buenos Aires. We believe the dance is the people, the culture, and the music. As your guides we’ve designed a tour to immerse you in the culture and to help build your tango.
We want to give you the tools to come back and be able to navigate the scene yourself. We’ve also selected world class instructors to have focus workshops. We know a one hour class is never enough with one instructor so we’ve decided to build a program where we can deep dive into their methodology and have time to soak in their teachings.
We’ve taught hundreds of students and frequent Buenos Aires.
Your Guides
Marcelo "El Chino" Gutiérrez
We admire Marcelo’s ability to both connect with a group and each individual. His goal is to help you unlock your dancer. He does this by helping you find the togetherness to yourself, with your partner, the floor, the ronda, and the music. Just when we think we’ve heard it all from him, he surprises us. He is constantly building upon his teaching to give his students the tools to define their own tango. He his approach is holistic and creative.
Marcelo draws on his learnings from the Dinzels, Nito & Elba, the Rivarolas, Teresa Fernandex, and Victor Arne to name a few. He’s a world champion and an all around amazing human.
“He doesn’t just dance tango - he dissects it, remakes it, and gifts it back to dancers in a form that's not only more accessible, but more profound.” (Ultimate Tango)

The Immersion Tour is for Argentine Tango Dancers looking to dive into their dance while immersing themselves in the tango culture of Buenos Aires. Depending on role, We require an understanding of how to lead or follow ochos, molinete, and basic to the cross. We recommend at least two years of experience and that you regularly attend either milongas or practicas.

The exchange rate fluctuates frequently. It tends to be in favor of the US Dollar or Euro. As a result things will certainly be cheaper in Buenos Aires than they are in the US or Europe. We will keep everyone updated on the latest rates before the trip.
Example costs:
Coffee/Pastry $1-4 USD
Empanadas $1-2 USD
Mid range meals $15-40 USD
Taxi to a milonga around $2-5 USD

To cover unforeseen circumstances. We want to help you have peace of mind if something unexpectedly happens.
Purchase a plan that fits your needs: look for coverage that includes trip or flight cancellations, lost baggage, and reimbursement for losses related to accidents, illness, or pre-existing medical conditions.
We strongly encourage purchasing travel insurance with trip cancellation coverage to safeguard your investment. With travel insurance, you're covered in case of unexpected events—from illness to emergencies—that could affect your plans. Life is unpredictable, but your dream trip doesn't have to be.
-
In the event that all eights spots are filled, we will create a waiting list in the order of when we receive your request.
