New Year, new rhythm. Start 2026 by learning Argentine Tango in Northampton, MA with Brian. Tango is a hug, a walk, and a music culture. We’ll focus on what makes social tango feel good: a comfortable embrace, phrasing, and floor craft. This series is designed to brush up on your fundamentals or to learn this dance for the first time. No experience or partner required. Drop in at any time. For best results attend every Thursday since each element will be built upon each other.

✺ Frequently asked questions ✺

  • No, not at all. This series is designed to rotate partners throughout the class.

  • You don't need a special shoe. If you do have a dance shoe bring that or anything with a clean smooth sole (think something you'd be able to pivot in). It can be a heeled or flat shoe. Socks are also perfect!

    Please bring an extra pair of shoes or a pair of socks to change into to protect the dance floor from rain/snow/mud.

  • No, the roles are not gender based. Everyone is encouraged to select if they would like to lead and/or follow.

  • Yes, you can drop in during any part of the series. Note that this is a progressive series and material will be built upon week after week. If you drop in at the end you will be picking up where the group is.

  • Yes, there is class only pricing available.

  • Yes. If you have no dance experience this is not a replacement for the series or class. The guided practica is to work on the material from the series or for Argentine tango dancers to practice their dance.

  • There are no returns. No refunds. If you cannot make the class due to serious life circumstances we give you credit towards your future workshops/classes.
