Western MA Tango is a non-profit organization who’s mission is to connect tango dancers to artists to expand this beautiful dance. They help dancers grow by hosting guest artists every third weekend of the month. Throughout the year they bring amazing musicians.

Andi is joining the weekly Intermediate Sequence Lab and Tango Fundamentals normally hosted by Brian. Get ready for this duo as Andi brings an extra flare to any environment.
For new and returning dancers, and still very useful if you’re experienced and want honest basics.

Whether you're newer to tango or deepening your practice, you'll find supportive guidance, great music, and a chance to connect with the Western MA tango community.

Fri Jan 16th Slay in Heels with Andi
Bring those shoes you want to work on your dance in. Build your bold walk, find your inner queen, and slay! This class is for anyone wanting to work on their balance and technique no matter their heel height. Work on your foundation of fluid movements to add in seamless embellishments. A perfect class before the Western MA Saturday milonga.

Sat Jan 17 Pre-milonga Class: Bada$$ Barridas
Many dancers lead barridas in one format. Come discover some other possibilities where barridas can be. We’ll first review basic barrida technique and play with some barrida varieties

Sunday Jan 18 Ocho Alchemy
If you’ve been dancing tango for sometime ochos are easily in your vocabulary. However, you’re probably only approaching them in one or maybe two ways. In this workshop, we’re expanding possibilities within ochos themselves.
Learning Objectives:
Review of ocho technique
Train yourself for possibilities within ochos
Broaden your knowledge so you don’t limit your ochos
Level: Intermediate/ Pre-Advanced

Sunday Jan 18 Smokin’ Circularity
We’re playing with all the shapes in tango and how the tango math somehow equals circularity. We’re diving into the circularity of the embrace, the couple, and traveling in the ronda.
